Routine Cleanings and Treatment of Gum Disease

Our office provides regular routine cleanings and check ups for all new and existing patients.  During these appointments it may be necessary to take digital radiographs to determine a proper diagnoses of your oral health status.  In some cases it may be necessary to go beyond the borders of a “routine” cleaning.  These cases include severe gingivitis and various levels of periodontal disease.  For these cases it is necessary to proceed with a procedure known as scaling and root planing, or what is more commonly known as a “deep” cleaning.
